Pippa Middleton’s pics being used by pro-anorexia sites
Dangerous pro-anorexia websites have found a new 'thinspiration' in Pippa Middleton to target women and young girls.

The Duke of Cambridge's younger sister, Pippa Middleton, who caused a sensation with her rear view as bridesmaid at the Royal wedding in April, has become the latest celebrity targetfor the sites.

It comes just days after the Daily Star revealed Kate, 28, featured on pro-anorexic sites which urge women and young girls: "Starve yourself to look this good."

And it follows shock reports that a record number of patients were admitted to hospital last year with life-threatening eating disorders after a 10 per cent rise in cases.

Pictures of pretty Pippa, 27, wearing her bridesmaid dress appear on one of the websites under the shocking title: "Thin – or die trying.

Four Reasons Businesses Should Start Using Facebook Video Chat

Facebook, Video, Chat, Skype,
Facebook held a media event Wednesday morning to unveil 'something awesome'. That something awesome is that Facebook is adding a group chat feature, and the ability--in partnership with Skype--to conduct video calls from within Facebook.

1. You are already there.

2. They are already there.

3. Saves time and money.

4. The price is right.

Facebook video chat is limited to one-on-one calls, unlike Google+ Huddles which allow for group video chat, or even group simultaneous watching of YouTube videos. There are certainly some practical business applications for the group aspects of Google+. Hopefully, Facebook will continue to expand on the video chat concept and include a group video chat function at some point. What would really be cool is if Facebook, Google+, Skype, Apple FaceTime, and any other competing video chat platform could all get on the same page so they could all work together, but I won't hold my breath.

HOW TO: Launch Facebook Skype Video Chat [PICS]

Chat, Facebook, How to, Pics, Skype, Video

You can now make video calls on Facebook, thanks to a new Skype-powered feature the social network launched Wednesday.

During the product announcement, Mark Zuckerberg described how his elderly neighbor in Palo Alto asked if he could to video chat his grandson on Facebook — without the hassle of setting up a new account or downloading a program. “Tune in,” Zuckerberg told him.

It’s not quite as seamless as Zuckerberg’s neighbor was hoping, however. The first time you try to video chat someone or answer a call, you will indeed be asked to download a program. The chat window will then ask you to select some Flash settings.

After that, the feature works like “a mini-Skype client,” as Skype CEO Tony Bates mentioned during the announcement. It also has a neat option to record a video message if the person you’re calling doesn’t answer. Here’s a brief walk-through in pictures.

Call of Duty Elite Adds Social Layer to Hit Gaming Series [PICS]

Video game company Activision has finally revealed Elite, a new social layer for its wildly popular Call of Duty games. Elite was designed to unite the massive community of Call ofDuty players as well as provide tools to help gamers of all levels improve their skills.

Cross-platform services are becoming more popular as video game designers realizetheir community isn’t console-specific . Web playerswant to test their mettle against console players and vice versa. Elite goes beyond the game to include social networks like Facebook. Users can link up their Facebook accounts to Elite topull in Likes and automatically find friends who are also using the service.

Elite also introduces groups and clans, which will play a much larger role in Modern Warfare 3 , the next Call of Duty game. Groups are largely open and can be based on anything. Like eating lobster? You can join or create a “Lobster” group. Like playing with machine guns? There’s a group for that. Same with “Yankees” or “Los Angeles.” Groups operate similar to fan pages on Facebook. Users can track and compare themselves to these mini-communities of players. Users can join a totalof 64 groups.

Clans are more limited. Userscan only belong to one clan and there is a cap on how many players can be in a clan. The Call of Duty folks were tight-lipped about how clans will play into the next iteration but promised they would be key.

We recently sat down with the game’s designers for a demo of Elite. The room, a penthouse hotel room in Manhattan, featured rows of huge black computers with the Elite skull logo. There, they talked about their goals and plans for Elite.
The service is available on web browsers, consoles and mobile apps and will work with all future Call of Duty games, including Black Ops , the most recent game in the series. Elite features four main sections: Career, Connect, Compete and Improve.
