Robbie Williams comforts Joss Stone

The Take That star invited the songstress to one of the band’s gig in Cardiff, Wales, on Thursday night after learning about the alleged plot to kidnap her.

Robbie reportedly used his cheeky sense of humour to cheer the stunning star up after her traumatic week.

Amy Winehouse's gig in Belgrade has been called the worst concert ever to take place in the city. Even Serbian defence minister Dragan Sutanovac put the boot in, calling it "a huge shame and a disappointment".

As music critic Simon Price pointed out on Twitter, when Bob Dylan renders his back catalogue unrecognisable, as he did in London's Finsbury Park at the weekend, people think he's a maverick genius. When Arctic Monkeys frontman Alex Turner stops singing Mardy Bum and lets the crowd take over, people applaud it as a communal moment. When Robbie Williams has a wardrobe malfunction – according to the Sun, his penis fell out onstage in Dublin – it's a laugh rather than a cause for concern.



Winehouse is now typecast as a troubled diva. Yet watching her rendition of Back to Black on YouTube, to my ears it's not even that bad. Sure she sings around the tune, but she's always done that – she's a jazz singer. Her rendition of Just Friends is listless (to put it mildly), but it never had much of a tune in the first place. Though admittedly hindered by booze, the musician in Winehouse is still trying to put a new spin on songs she must be heartily sick of by now. If the people of Belgrade wanted note-perfect versions, perhaps they should have stayed at home and listened to the records.

Kenny Chesney said his career didn't take off until he stopped trying to emulate one of his country music heroes.

Country superstar Kenny Chesney is back on top with a new tour and an appearance with singer Grace Potter this morning on NBC’s Today Show. Chesney performed Somewhere With You solo and then Potter joined him for You and Tequila, turning 30 Rock into a country music festival.



It’s hard to believe there was a time when Chesney struggled for success -- and he blames country music legend George Strait for it.



"Like a lot of people did, and I was guilty of it, George Strait was the guy who was the model that everybody at the time, and still today, wanted to be like. They wanted to emulate him," Chesney said during Billboard's Country Music Summit last week. "As much as I love him and respect him, the moment that I quit trying to be him was the moment my life changed."



And it did -- Chesney’s brand of beach-worthy country took hold with fans, helping him sell millions of records and become a superstar.



"My career was really odd, because I literally had a greatest hits album out and nobody knew who I was. They knew the songs, but they didn't know me," he said.



"Once I started writing real, honest songs about my life -- about things that I love and my life in the islands and my life back in East Tennessee -- and really tried to get my live show where I wanted it, that's when my life changed."

Chris Brown, Odd Future's Frank Ocean Exchange Disses On Twitter

The feud between Chris Brown and popular Los Angeles collective, Odd Future, continues.



After going at it with OFWGKTA leader, Tyler The Creator weeks before, Breezy and singer Frank Ocean exchanged words in a series of Twitter messages Friday afternoon (June 17).



Brown sparked the exchange, when he sent out a tweet comparing the Odd Future crooner to songwriters, James Fauntleroy and Kevin Cossom.



"I f*** wit Frank Ocean! Reminds me of a young James Fauntleroy or Kevin Cossum," he wrote (@ChrisBrown).



Ocean, who recently dropped the official music video for his single "Novacane", responded with a similar tweet (@Frank_Ocean): "i f***s wit chris brown, reminds me of a young sisqo or ike turner," adding, "i just dont like underhanded comments. thats all im saying."



From there, Breezy went off the deep end, tweeting a series of heated comments, explaining that he was trying to big-up Ocean, and instead, was met with insults.



"@frank_ocean, it was a compliment you bitch ass n****," Brown began. "Everybody claim to be the devil till they meet him."



To make things worse, Breezy continued, sending out a big "f*** you" to not only Ocean, but also Tyler and the entire OFWGKTA crew.

Singer-actress Selena Gomez hospitalized after 'Tonight Show' appearance

LOS ANGELES, Calif. - Selena Gomez has been admitted to a hospital following an appearance on "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno." A spokeswoman for the "Wizards of Waverly Place" star says Gomez "wasn't feeling well and was taken to the hospital" and is undergoing "routine tests." She did not specify Gomez's condition. The 18-year-old singer-actress was promoting the upcoming film "Monte Carlo" on the talk show. Gomez's appearance to promote the film at a Santa Monica, Calif., mall on Friday was cancelled. The hospitalization was first reported by TMZ, which said Gomez suffered from nausea and a headache before going to a Los Angeles-area hospital.

Sean Kingston not dead after accident

Sean Kingston is not dead after a Jet Ski accident. He and a female passenger crashed in to a bridge of some sort, although complete details have not become available at this time. While the Beautiful Girls singer is listed in stable condition, people are wondering who his female passenger was and if she is okay.
The initial reports suggested that Kingston took the brunt of the hit, landing him in critical condition in a Miami hospital. The female passenger was injured, but it is unknown how bad said injuries were/are. Her name has not been released and her identity is unknown to the general public. People are assuming that she and Sean Kingston were friends, if not romantically involved.
