Despite announcing their plans to divorce on Friday, Marc Anthony and Jennifer Lopez are moving forward with their latest joint professional venture, the new reality competition show Q’Viva! The Chosen . Headed by Lopez, Anthony, Simon Fuller and Jamie King, the series is set to film across South America this fall, and according to The Hollywood Reporter , Lopez and Anthony will remain attached to the project. “Both Jennifer and Mark are committed to the Q’Viva! project and will work on it as planned,” a representative for XIX Entertainment said. But will theirnewfound relationship status add a new layer of drama to the “hotly anticipated 2012 celebration of Latinmusic, artistry and dance”? (Whether we want it to or not largely depends on how horrible good the show’s contestants are.)

Snooki, Avril Lavigne 'Poof Wars' Heating Up

Watch out Snooki, you have competition...sort of! Punk rock princess Avril Lavigne showed up to film an interview with Extra on Tuesday (July 12) wearing a Jersey Shore inspired poof. The question is, did she pull it off?

For Avril's appearance at the Grove in Los Angeles, she definitely had the hair down. Of course the What The Hell singer was rocking her own fashion, t-shirt, skinny pants, etc, and not a Snooki-inspired get-up.

No, there was no short skirt, wooly boots, and low-cut blouse to show off her cleavage. Will Avril keep the poof? Who knows, but do not be surprised if the singer and the reality television star show up on a 'Who wore it better?' list. Check out the photos, here.

One thing that Snooki does have over Avril, however, is a book deal. She has reportedly inked a deal for her second novel. Lavigne should not be too jealous though, since she intends to launch a new line of clothing. Let the war begin!

Helen Mirren Is Making Beaches Even More Depressing

Helen Mirren may not think she has a great body, but plenty of others do. She was recently ranked first in the Hottest Women Over 50 list, but scoffed at that fact.



"I do not have a great body," she told Starpulse.com. "I have a c**p body. Naomi Campbell has a great body. Let's be realistic, here." Realistic or not she and other hot and "older" celebrities like Kim Cattrall and Michele Pfiefer are spurring masses of women who in past generations would be relaxing in their polyester, elastic-waist pants to stay slim and fit instead.



According to a recent Omnibus poll, middle aged women are dieting in record numbers. Of people aged 55-64, more than 70 percent said they were on a diet. Great news as we all know the ill effects of obesity. But these grannies aren't doing it to ward off heart disease and promote longevity, but rather to bust out their bikinis. One-fifth of the dieters said looking good in swimwear was their motivation, and it appears they're pretty motivated. These "silver slimmers" as they've been dubbed, apparently stick to their diets twice as long as those half their age.



Great, just what us younger moms need.

Raven Symone: I Was Beautiful Before I Lost Weight!

Raven Symone has been making all kinds of headlines because of her new figure. This month, Vibe magazine featured the former Disney star in their “Sexy Issue” and she’s a certified bombshell, showing off her svelte figure in a curve hugging LBD and red heels.

But for all the hoopla over her newfound skinny-minny status, the actress maintains she feels just as good “after” as she did “before.”

“I find it funny that people now come up to me and say, ‘Wow, you are absolutely gorgeous’. I’m like, ‘I was beautiful before I lost weight'. Egotistically speaking, I thought I was amazing.’”

Apparently the producers at ABC Family agreed with that sentiment, because now she’s too skinny for her new role on debut show State of Georgia, which premieres June 23. “Ironically, my character is supposed to be the size I was before,” she said. “So I have to wear thicker body pads on the show.”

The show features Raven playing a character who moves to New York from Georgia in hopes of becoming an actress.

Fran Drescher: My Gay Ex-Husband Is My Best Friend

Fran Drescher didn't have to look far for inspiration for her new TV Land show Happily Divorced, which premieres June 15. The sitcom, about a woman whose husband turns out to be gay, is actually based on her own experience.

After her marriage of 21 years ended, Drescher's husband, Peter Marc Jacobson, came out of the closet.

"He had already been living a gay life away from me after we divorced, and he said, 'I don't want you to be shocked. I'm dating men,' " the actress, 53, tells PEOPLE in its current issue, on stands now.

This week on the season premiere of Keeping Up With the Kardashians, the crazy K’s are back for another drama-filled season! Kris Humphries, who plays for the New York Nets, is now Kim’s official boyfriend. They were eating lunch talking about how they met and the story seemed to vary depending on the perspective. Kim claims that Kris wanted to call her right away, but he denied it. Lamar’s season ended so Khloe is happy that they get to spend more quality time together. Scott and Kourtney have been moving into their new home. Kourtney misses her family and how close they have always been. Everyone got together at the Jenner house and the girls started talking about baby names. Khloe wants to name her boys with L names. Kim revealed that her and Kris talk about getting married and having kids and giving them K names. They haven’t been together for very long so her sisters seemed pretty shocked. Kourtney and Scott had family game night at their new home. Kourtney was upset when Bruce showed up and Kris didn’t. Kris sent Bruce with a gift since she couldn’t make it and there was a card on the gift that revealed the gift was actually meant for Kris! Yikes, recycling gifts is not cool!

A ver: preguntémonos: ¿cuánto hace que comenzó su ‘carrera’ Paula Chaves? Respuesta: apenas un poquito más de un año, nada más. Y en ese período ínfimo de trayectoria, los pasos que ha venido dando la han catapultado a sitiales ‘de honor’ inesperados



La primera vez que se la vio a esta chiquita fue en el “Bailando 2010”, donde comenzó a lograr notoriedad por el pseudo-romance con el productor de Tinelli: Pedro Alfonso.



Ese cuentito inventado para sazonar las noches calientes del reality, durante el año pasado, le valió a la blonda belleza que millones de personas (el famoso rating del programa) conociera sus encantos físicos y la simpatía que todos le reconocen.



No son dos atributos que otras chicas no tengan, pero parece que Paula ha sabido explotarlos al máximo, y a velocidad supersónica, es que este año debutó con un ciclo propio (“Extra pequeño”) donde ejerce el rol de conductora (en realidad, recién lo está aprendiendo como todo lo demás), junto a Darío Lopilato.



Y, ahora, otra zancada veloz la ha postulado a una posición que debe estar haciendo que todas las demás damitas que pululan por estos ciclos se estén mordiendo los codos de envidia. Es que Paulita grabó un videoclip con Ricky Martin y el dúo puertorriqueño Winsin y Yandel.



Eso sí: le prohibieron terminantemente que hable sobre su experiencia y dé detalles del producto en cuestión. Habrá que esperar, entonces, a ver cuánta piel devela entre meneo y meneo.
