Jackie Chan: Still Not Dead

We can't help but wonder if Jackie Chan isgetting a, um, kick out of this.

Believe it or not, the action star has, once again, fallen victim to yet another death hoax.

But a rep for the martial arts legend was quick to inform E! News that the man is still very much alive. Repeat. Very much alive.

Well, it seems somebody created a "R.I.P. Jackie Chan" Facebook page, which sparked the rumors of the Rush Hour actor's demise. As a result, folks on Twitter immediately starting expressing their shock and dismay. Although, thankfully, as time went on, fans slowly began to realize that talk of Chan's passing was simply not true.

It's the second time this year that Chan was believed to have met his maker. Back in March, after the Internet was abuzz with bogus reports of his passing, a note was subsequently posted on his Facebook page assuring people that "he did not suffer a heart attack and die."

Guess social networking can sometimes be a social nuisance.

Hoax: Is Kim Kardashian Pregnant?

The OK! story, rapidly picked up by several gossip sites, is "not true," and Kim and Kris are not already building a nursery.
In other words: we're not on bumpwatch just yet. Not convinced yet? Maybe this well help:
"This is crazy! I am NOT pregnant," Kim herself declares on her personal blog .
"Magazines can be so tricky with their wording! The inside states that one day I want a baby! But I'm not pregnant! I can foresee lots of crazy, made up stories coming out in the near future and I certainly don't have time toshut down every rumor. But believe that if you hear it from me, it will be true. Otherwise, don't always believe what you read, dolls.
For those keeping track at home, Kourtney is the only Kardashian sister breeding at this point , though Khloé is trying really hard.
And while we're clearing up Kim rumors, our trusty family source has one other thing to add: Kim did not buy her own engagement ring.

By now you may have seen the rumors swirling through the blogosphere: our E! buddy Kim Kardashian has a bun in the ovencourtesy of newly minted fiancé Kris Humphries .


The shocker was delivered via OK! magazine —which blares on its new Kim-centric cover: "I'm Having a Baby!"—and features quotes from an unnamed "pal" saying, "Kim always thought she'd have at least one or two kids by now, so she's absolutely in a hurry...Her friends are even taking bets on whether it will be a boy or a girl."


So is she really having a baby? We've spoken to our very own Kardashian insider (someone extemely close to the family, if you catch our drift) and we're proclaiming the Kim-with-child story to be...
So false!

Lauren Alaina Says Kissing Scotty McCreery on Finale Was a Hoax

The runner-up appeared on ‘Live! With Regis and Kelly’ today, where she spilled that her lip lock with the country ‘Idol’ winner was nothing more than the ultimate dare.


“How about that Scotty guy, huh?” Regis asked Lauren, who was practically giddy in her stagechair, but went sly when her counterpart was brought up. “Oh, he’s great!” she replied coyly.


While the 16-year-old Georgia cutie denied that she and the 17-year-old North Carolina cowboy are dating, Regis and Kelly asked the question we are all dying to know: Did she want to kiss him? “Someone dared me to,” she spilled, though she wouldn’t say who when asked.
“But you wanted to kiss Scotty!” Regis prodded. To which the blushing teen replied, “Well…”
“Double dog dare, that’s what it was,” she insisted after Kelly brought it up. “You have to do it if you get double dog dared, it’s just like the rules.”


So there you have it — double dog dare rules are still in play in 2011, and Lauren Alaina kissed Scotty McCreery on a dare. Somehow, we don’t think this will be the last we hear of the pair!
