Lollapalooza old stars: Where are they now?
Lollapalooza featured nine bands in 1991, the festival's inaugural year, and boasts more than 130 for this year's version. What happened to some of the acts from 20 years ago, including festival founder Perry Farrell's Jane's Addiction? USA TODAY tracks down some of the pioneers:

Jane's Addiction

The alt-rock band's intense chemistry on and off the stage and issues with drug use led to a breakup after its tour in 1991. Perry Farrell, Dave Navarro and Stephen Perkins reunited for tours in 1997 and 2001, and original member Eric Avery rejoined in 2008 before leaving two years later. The group is scheduled to release a studio album, The Great Escape Artist , on Sept. 27.

Living Colour

The New York-based group, credited with starting the funk/metal/jazz trend in the mid-1980s, peaked with the 1988 hit Cult of Personality , which won a Grammy the following year. The group disbanded in 1995 but reunited five years later and continues to perform with core members Vernon Reid, Corey Glover, Doug Wimbish and Will Calhoun.

Baidu and Google Celebrate Duanwu Festival With Doodles

Call it Duanwu, Dragon Boat or Dumpling festival: Both search giants, Baidu and Google are celebrating the festival today with doodles on their front pages.

Taiwan, Hong Kong, and China are having public holidays today. Sadly, there is no day off here in Singapore. But as Chinese, we do still celebrate the festival with our families, mostly by just eating dumplings together.

The festival occurs on the fifth day of the fifth month of the lunar calendar on which the Chinese calendar is based.

Besides eating dumplings, the festival is also a day for dragon boat races. The video below, with more than 400,000 views, provides a good overview on the Chinese Dragon Boat Festival. If you’re interested to learn more, check out the Dragon Boat Festival page on Wikipedia.

Have a great Dumpling Day! 端午快乐!

Brangelina’s brood making a ‘mess’ in Cannes

Los Angeles: Hollywood`s `It` couple Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are living it up in Cannes along with their six children and the actress says that the brood is happy ‘creating a mess’.

Jolie is at the festival to promote `Kung Fu Panda 2` while Pitt came for his film `The Tree of Life`, and they have brought the children along, reported Us magazine online.

"Yes, we`re all in France. Our whole family is in France, and we`re very happy," said the 35-year-old actress.

"They`re running around the hotel now, playing games and making a giant mess! I`m sure they`re having a great time. They love it here," added the Oscar winner.

Jolie and 47-year-old Pitt`s children --- Maddox, 8, Pax, 7, Zahara, 6, Shiloh, 4, and two-year-old twins Knox and Vivienne -- are staying at a private villa complete with a chef and a pool full of inflatable toys.

But the busy parents have managed to sneak in some time for romance and have been spotted at parties around town.
