Nick Jonas must be relieved that his older woman is going to age gracefully.

Delta Goodrem may be eight years senior to her singer boyfriend but if her mother, Lea, is anything to judge by, the Australian star won't be losing her good looks any time soon.

It was hard to believe there was even a generation gap between them as they enjoyed a shopping trip in Los Angeles yesterday, looking more like best friends than mother and daughter.

They have been keeping quiet about their new relationship and are rarely spotted out together. But yesterday Nick Jonas and girlfriend Delta Goodrem were seen heading out for a bite to eat hand in hand. The new couple, who have just returned from a tropical holiday in Bali, headed to Henry’s Hat in Studio City, California to grab some lunch.

Delta, who split from fiancé Brian McFadden on April 1 this year, was dressed in a cream jersey dress and a black leather jacket which she teamed with a pair of leggings and a pastel coloured scarf.



Her beau Nick, 18, was looking dapper in a shirt rolled to his sleeves tucked into a pair of dark jeans and smart brown shoes.



The couple shared a joke together and firmly held hands as they made their way into the eatery.

Nick Jonas warned by Delta Goodrem’s ex, Brian McFadden

 

Former West Life singer and now judge of “Australia’s Got Talent” Brian McFadden has claimed that ex-fiancee, Delta Goodrem told him about going out with Nick Jonas before the world saw her leaving a Los Angeles theater holding hands with the Disney star.



And McFadden insisted that “he is happy if Delta is happy”.



"She told me about it beforehand, whatever makes her happy,” McFadden was quoted as saying by Ninemsn.



He added, describing the photo taken of the rumored celebrity couple: "It was positive. She looks happy, if she's happy I don't mind."







The 32-year-old Irish singer-songwriter may sound okay about ex-fiancee’s newfound love, but the singer issued a warning against Nick Jonas and other men setting their eyes on the Aussie songstress.



McFadden said: “But there's a warning from me, if anyone hurts her they're dead."



The “Real To Me” hitmaker also clarified earlier reports that he was dumped by Goodrem, whom he had had a relationship for seven years before they split in April.

RadarOnline reported on Thursday that Nick removed two photos of Jane Fonda and Jim Morrison that were placed in his new $5 million penthouse by his interior decorator because he allegedly didn’t know who the two stars were. However, Nick quickly put the weird rumor to rest. “The rumor about me not knowing who Jane Fonda and James Morrison are is really funny,” Nick tweeted. Hey, maybe he just didn’t like the photos?
